CRC Wins an El Pomar Award for Excellence

We are proud to announce that the Community Resource has been awarded the El Pomar H. Chase Stone Award for Excellence in Community!

This award reflects CRC's long-standing commitment to creating opportunities, tools, and strategies to develop nonprofits and community groups to strengthen Colorado. We sincerely appreciate this recognition from El Pomar Foundation.

Twelve of us made the trip down to Colorado Springs for the lovely award presentation and celebration at the Pikes Peak Center. The three people in my car were a little worried that we would not make it, since someone (me) forgot to get gas before we left Denver and waited way too long to stop. After this minor delay (and the associated panic), we arrived to enjoy the awards ceremony in which many of our nonprofit clients, partners, and colleagues were recognized for their achievements. CRC has a connection with almost all of the award recipients, which demonstrates CRC’s broad and deep connections within the nonprofit sector across the state.

Thank you to all current and former staff, board members, and all of CRC’s supporters in making this recognition possible for CRC!
